My simple guide to staying out of office politics:
– shut your office door, if you have one
– drink bottled water and fill up the bottle at home each morning
– stop the gossip the second it starts: “I’m sorry, but I am INSANELY busy with work right now and I’m on a deadline. Excuse me, please.” (Did you forget to shut that office door??)
“8 minutes to a tight ass”, way too funny.

I can add one to Heidi’s tips: write down what you eat. I’ve been tracking what I eat on Fitday.com. Can’t say I haven’t indulged (pizza nights twice and a 4,200-calorie Thanksgiving in the last couple of weeks), but I’m making better choices.
