I would love to gather your thoughts on POM Pomegranate juice. If interested in receiving a couple of bottles leave a comment and I will draw 3 winners!

My take:

I am not a big juice drinker but I had an opportunity to try a product that claims to be healthy and good tasting, so why not? POM Pomegranate juice is the product and my wife and I were to be the two that enjoyed testing our taste buds. We had a unexpected wrinkle added to the plan–> a teenager, yes the same one that responds to every question with “that’s how I roll.”

Well, the teenager and her friends decided they were thirsty and decided to drink the POM juice, while the “nerdy” adults weren’t around! I suppose a dad should be relieved that the child is drinking healthy vs. well… you know where I am going with this. 🙂

Anyway..the teenage verdict was very positive, all enjoyed the taste and they would enjoy the POM juice anytime!

I was curious myself so I went and purchased some more POM juice for my wife and I! We were both pleasantly surprised at the taste and will definitely add the product to our regular grocery list!

I love Pom although it’s a bit pricey. So I typically buy Whole Foods or Trader Joe’s brands to save some $$. It’s good mixed with seltzer as well.

I know a nutritionist who thinks it’s the greatest so I read up as much as I good. I find no negatives other than price and it may interact with medicines taken at same time (like grapefruit juice)

I like POM, but frankly like eating the fruit instead of drinking it.

I am not a big juice drinker. I am one of those folks who likes to get her juice from the fruit or maybe I might try this with tequila.
Okay, I’m in. The drink would be tequila, lime, POM and ice. That is the only reason I’d drink it. Better give it to anyone else. 😉

Hi Mark, actually I just stopped by to let you know that I completed my first 5K last weekend and to my great surprise I was actually able to run the whole way! I started off nice and slow and basically maintained the tortise (sp) pace the whole way, and it worked for me!

BTW, I love POM juice….as a mixer with vodka and tonic it tastes great and you get your anti-oxidents thrown in as a bonus!

Sounds good to me. I think I tried a blueberry one before and it was pricey and a bit strong but nothing a bit of ice can’t cure. LOL Thanks!

If allowed, I would drink cranberry juice All The Time. But, I don’t do it because I know juice is just too caloric. Pom has the nutritional benefits that make it worth it!

We liked it too (but you know that already)! I branched out a little into their different flavors (pomegranate-cherry juice) this week. Not bad, but I think that we’ll stick with the plain flavor in the future!

i love POM, the flavor is so clean and unique! i know many people find the taste strong, but it’s great both straight or diluted. i love the tartness to it. yum!

I am not a huge juice drinker (prefer water. and wine, to be 100% honest!), but I do love this stuff – VERY flavorful!!

I don’t drink juice…to me it’s not worth the 160 calories…I’m with Missicat…plenty of water and a little red wine, but I have heard that pomegranate juice can help men maintain a healthy prostate.
