Something just for fun, maybe a bit well..uneasy for some. The site Very Good Taste posted a list of 100 things that they felt every good omnivore should try at least once in his or her life. I was introduced to the list by Cathy at A Life Less Sweet.
My list of the foods I have tried are in bold and a few that I won’t try are crossed out! Blank I have not tried. I have also included a few comments.
Not quite sure what the criteria was for the list.

Follow-up comment rss or Leave a TrackbackThat’s quite a list. I am such a picky eater I think there’s maybe only a handful of things on that list I’ve actually eaten and the rest I wouldn’t try. My parents used to call me Plain Jane.
Whole insects??? What is this, like Survivor or something? NO thanks.
Now Dulce de Leche, that’s a whole different story. YUM! : )
Cool list!
@Elaine, Ha! Seems kind of like Survivor…doesn’t it? 🙂

How interesting! some of those things are so common where we live I know you must be from a different part of the country! 😉
Poutaine isn’t so bad if you make it yourself. Real fresh cheese curds (yum, I could eat them all by themselves!) and country gravy over fries.
You don’t know what you’re missing… never had fresh berries???
And Pho is amazing! Seattle’s the best place for it!
@Krista, Sometimes I wonder if I am from a different planet! 🙂 Thanks for your comments.
